Liubov V. Artemova is a leading scientist in the field
of theory and history of pedagogics, preschool education, theory and
methodology of vocational adult education and social pedagogy. Under her
leadership, there was formed a scientific school on problems of theory and
practice of education and pre-school children training, pupils and students.
She defended 26 Ph.D. theses, 2 doctoral ones.
290 scientific papers have been published. Among them,
there are monographs, educational and visual aids, textbooks, programs,
articles and instructional manual. The most significant for the development of
theory and practice of pre-school education, schools, education are the
following monographs: "Moral education of preschoolers” (1974),
"Formation of social orientation of the child in the game" (1989);
visual-manuals: "Dramatized games of preschoolers (1990)," Study
while playing "(1995), “Color, shape and size" (1997), “Theater and
Game "(2002), "Step by step, in Ukraine” (2003); a textbook
"History of Pedagogics of Ukraine" (2006); a manual "Pedagogy
and methodology of higher education" (2008).
Liubov V. Artemova participated in the U.S. project
"First Steps" and the International Renaissance Foundation being a
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the project, manager, coach, participant
of seminars for employees of pre-school, school and higher education
institutions in Hungary (twice), Kyrgyzstan (once), Lithuania (once), in
Ukraine (annually) during (1994 - 2004). She is a supervisor and the developer
of the program "Step by step in Ukraine” (2003) for parents, social
workers, students; published with the support of Unicef by the project of
“Starokostiantyniv - a city friendly to children”. Written and published the
textbook "History of Education of Ukraine”, which has a higher grant of IF
Renaissance.
In KyIU Liubov V. Artemova organized the work of
post-graduate division. Now 14 specialties are opened and function
successfully, where 48 post-graduate students are trained under the command of
experienced scientific supervisors. Liubov V. Artemova directs post-graduate
division with two majors: 13.00.01 - General pedagogics and history of
pedagogy, 13.00.04 - Theory and Methods of Vocational Education.
As head of the
section of Teaching Skills Liubov V. Artemova organizes the work of magistracy
8.000005 specialty "Pedagogy of high school”. Specific categories of
training.
