The KIU post-graduate department offers the following specialties:

12.00.08 − Criminal law and criminology; criminal-and executive
law;
12.00.07 − Administrative law and the process;
07.00.02 − Universal history;
27.00.04 − Theory and history of journalism;
10.01.05 − Comparative literal criticism;
11.00.02 − Economic and social geography;
08.00.04 − Economics and management (governance (section L);
financial activity (section J);
13.00.04 − Professional education theory and methods;
09.00.03 − Social philosophy and historical philosophy;
23.00.02 − Political institutions and processes.
In the KyIU doctoral candidacy department due
to the decision of the Education Ministry Certification Board the following
specialties are offered: 12.00.07 − Administrative law and the process;
financial law; information law.
Enrolment to the post-graduate department takes place all-year round,
entrance exams − every three months: major discipline, foreign language
and philosophy.
The teaching process carried out by the Typical
plan involves all necessary stages and results of the post-graduates work:
- candidate’s exams passing;
- theoretical research;
- experimental research;
- writing dissertation chapters;
- publication of articles in
profile editions;
- reports at conferences;
- implementation of results
into practical life.
